The Ramblas (in the heart of Barcelona) is one of the magnificent boulevards of the world and you should explore it in the day time and promenade with the locals and tourists in the evening. Each time we have returned, it offers up exciting new touristic treats which lure us into just rambling around here, delaying our exploration of other parts of this delightful city.
The Gay Beach is right in front of Restaurant Pic Nic in the heart of Sitges. However, at peak times the beaches on either side will have an overflow of gorgeous men who got down to the water a bit late. Don't be afraid to wander in either direction to find little gay 'nests, gaggles and gatherings'. For the best beach food in town, find a beach bar called Xiringuito Bleda on the main beachfront area.
When you go down to Sitges in early September you will be sure of a big surprise as the bears are having their picnic. Bears Week in Sitges is huge, being one of the most popular bear festivals in Europe with more than 5000 bears, cubs and their admirers, all partying together for 10 days.

Naoussa is the much favoured place to stay on the Greek island of Paros. Known as a castle town set around a small port, the tiny streets are built in a fashion as to totally confuse tourists of the twenty-first century but historically protected the citizens of Naoussa from pirates in the 13th century.
Plaka Beach, on the island of Naxos in Greece, is a 35 minute bus ride from the main town area known as Chora or Agios Georgios. Hiring a car was one transport option but at 50€ a day we thought we would take the 3.60€ return bus ride instead.
