Siem Reap is far from a party town but on our last visit we found two great little gay bars (Linga Bar and Miss Wong Cocktail Bar) and both made our stay in this vibrant, cultural mecca all the more special.

The bars here in Copenhagen are a bit like the city itself, open-minded, easy to access, with a vibrancy and friendliness not often encountered in other destinations around the world. We will be back!

Belongil Beach, part of Australia's famous Byron Bay, is one of the world's most beautiful beaches. We know this is a big call but it's true. The beach is expansive. It runs as far as the eye can see, with clean, pristine, soft, white, powdery sand. It is somewhat wild and rugged with crystal, clear water. Watched over by Byron's famous protective lighthouse, which marks the most easterly point of Australia, this beach is a total gem. Did we also mention you often see dolphins playing offshore a

Singapore airport has more arrivals than almost any airport in the world. Many people stay overnight in Singapore to break their journey, to or from Europe. Whenever we've had an overnighter here, we find the Village Hotel Changi, formerly known as the Changi Village Hotel, to be an excellent choice.

It's at least 28 degrees, brilliant blue skies, a gentle eight knot breeze and seas are calm for embarkation. We are on our first gay Pied Piper cruise on the super-liner Celebrity Millennium. We arrived in time for lunch and we were so excited about spotting other members of our group, we couldn't have cared less about the food. Drinks, well that's another matter. One has to celebrate boarding such an amazing vessel in appropriate style. Yes, fill it up!!

Pack the cossies, a good book and very little else when you take off to the Cove.
